The explosion sadly resulted in the death of at least six individuals, and approximately 60 people sustaining injuries. Emergency services, including firefighters from neighbouring areas were dispatched amid concerns that some workers were still trapped inside the building.

Ice causes chaos in China

Rising temperatures in the Wuhan area of China caused ice pillars hanging on the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge to fall, severely damaging multiple vehicles below. To prevent further damage to vehicles or people, the Chengyun Group swiftly closed the bridge for de-icing operations. Luckily no one was reported to have been injured in this freak weather incident!

Skiers trigger avalanche

Tourists in northwest China who ventured off designated ski paths ended up triggering a small avalanche that buried four fellow snow enthusiasts. Four skiers were buried; two lying on top of the snow being relatively safe, and the other two, whom onlookers worked together to extricate. All those involved emerged from the avalanche without life-threatening conditions and recovered well.
