A Year in Review: 2022 at Newsflare
What a year.
Over the last 12 months, we’ve seen our community grow to over 45k verified filmers from 154 countries, who have received over £2 million in payments.
Over 4 million seconds of footage were uploaded to the platform in 2022, and our filmers captured everything – from the sublime to the ridiculous. We saw a teddy take to the stars while a man plummeted to earth (completing a rubix cube), dramatic rescues, hilarious ways to cope with the heatwaves, and even some questionable fan reactions.
From the hard-hitting moments, to the heartfelt stories, our filmers have seen and shot it all, including some of the year’s most viral videos.
We also celebrated 10 years of Newsflare, grew our team, launched new channels and hit record-breaking views.
