Tourists were filmed fleeing from the edge of a lagoon after a glacier collapsed causing large pulsating waves near the shore. The filmer, tourist guide Stephan Mantler, said that the onlookers were all instructed what to do in this scenario prior to visiting the glacier. Due to the size and proximity of the glacier crash, Mantler said, it was a close call, but everybody managed to stay safe and dry.

A driver in Northamptonshire, UK, is seen to accelerate and come to an abrupt stop right in front of an ambulance. The driver quickly moves out of the way when they realise their mistake, and let the ambulance through, miraculously with everyone unscathed.

This sand surfer was filmed as he glided down huge sand dunes in the Chilean desert. This incredible athlete, Cristian Caalcagno, has been sandboarding for the past 32 years, since he was just 10-years-old. His amazing talent has seen him featured in a number of different professional shoots and his credits include Netflix, GoPro, and Nissan.

5 - Three kayakers race at 50mph down a storm drain
Watch the adrenaline-inducing moment three kayakers in British Columbia went full pelt down a drainage ditch. The footage, filmed on a helmet camera in Lions Bay, north of Vancouver, shows the race as the three slip and slide, at times violently, towards the ocean. After losing, and luckily regaining, control, the kayakers let out howls of relief as they reach the sea.

This Airbus A380 shocked onlookers at a German airshow as it performed a near-vertical takeoff. Footage captured at the ILA airshow in Berlin shows the carbon-coloured passenger plane performing a risky move, swooping up towards the sky at a close to vertical angle. This is not something that an airline pilot would perform if there were passengers onboard the plane.
