The panda named Mengda displayed his ability to dry himself off at the Beijing Zoo in China on October 7. It’s unclear how the towel ended up in his enclosure, but once he spotted it, he did not hesitate to grab it and begin using it. The footage shows how with meticulous care, he proceeded to wipe his furry face, head, and even his round belly, showcasing his attention to detail.

An in-flight reunion
This is the heartwarming moment a pilot greeted a cabin crew family - with an air hostess, her two daughters and her retired captain husband all on the same flight. The Boeing 737 flight was ahead of schedule so the captain left the cockpit mid-air to use the tannoy and recount the uplifting situation to the passengers onboard.
He told how air hostess Angel had been working for the carrier for 27 years. She was then joined by her two daughters Keleko and Jessica on their first day at work - fulfilling their childhood dreams to become cabin crew. Incredibly, their father Gregg and Angel's husband of 22 years then joined the family for a true American group hug as passengers cheered on the Southwest Airlines flight in Dallas, Texas.

This dramatic explosion occurred in a restaurant during its gas pipeline testing process ahead of its grand opening in China. The dramatic CCTV footage was filmed in Beijing on October 9. Emergency teams quickly arrived on the scene to conduct search and rescue operations, which have now been completed. Luckily, there were no reported fatalities, though several individuals sustained injuries. All those injured have been promptly rushed to nearby medical facilities and are receiving the best care possible and local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the explosion.
