Scuba divers Bartolomeo Bove and friend Juca Ygarape come face to face with a 7-metre-long giant anaconda while exploring the Formoso River in Brazil. The diving duo film the reptile as it inspects the camera held in front of it before slithering off across the riverbed.

Kangaroos involved in ferocious fight in Australia
Filmed in Pinnaroo, South Australia, two kangaroos are caught in a fight, boxing and kicking each other, before a third gets involved.
The filmer later wrote: "We ended up with a clear winner, and stayed to watch a few more square up, but nothing came close to this scrap. The sounds of the impacts from the kicks were phenomenal; I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of those!”

Incredible moment man halts charging elephant
Filmed at the Phu Luang Wildlife Sanctuary in Thailand, Navee Kittisak caught the terrifying moment an elephant charged out of the jungle towards his friend Tor Bowling. Astonishingly, Bowling stands his ground and manages to scare the elephant away with a casual wave of his hand before smiling at his friend and continuing to take pictures.

Huge mako shark jumps on fishing boat and gets stuck
Filmed off the coast of Long Island, USA, fishermen watched on in horror as a huge mako shark writes around the deck of their boat after jumping onboard. Trapped under a guard rail, it struggles, snapping at its surroundings before slipping to freedom.
