Filmer Spotlight: Heather
Today we spotlight a Newsflare exclusive filmer who captured some adorable moments with her kids.
For many content creators, the road to sharing their videos and stories with the world starts with a simple moment of inspiration, for others, it’s the idea of sharing something real and making people laugh.
One of our filmers, Heather, a mother and video creator, has racked up millions of views after posting a series of heartwarming videos of her twin daughters Summer-Rose and Remi-Rae. The potential of these videos was recognised by one of our researchers who reached out to the mother and explained the benefits of working with Newsflare.
Since partnering with us, Heather has made three sales on her first two uploads, and she has spoken to us about what it’s been like earning with Newsflare.
When we asked Heather if there was a moment that first sparked her interest to film the twins, she said:
Since the twins were born, I realised how interested people were with the twins and how much my friends loved to watch their videos I would put on Snapchat and Facebook, people would message saying how much they enjoy watching the twins grow and that their videos brighten up their day, so it has progressed from that really.
We asked Heather how she discovered Newsflare and was there anything that made her decide to join the platform:
Someone contacted me on Tik tok from Newsflare saying they liked my video, I had a lot of other companies that also contacted me but didn’t want to put my trust in them as it’s a big thing that my children are in the video. After reading reviews I decided to put my trust in Newsflare and have been happy that the twins’ videos have had sales.
We wanted to know Heather’s processes, from filming to uploading. And if she has any advice for other filmers and creators:
My process in filming? I haven’t really got one, I could literally film the girls all day as there are so many moments I miss with them, I just try pick the best moments that I think are cute or funny.
