A woman shopping in a supermarket on the first floor of a shopping centre suddenly found herself caught in a sinkhole after the floor collapsed beneath her. The terrifying moment which was filmed in Zhenjiang City, China, reportedly trapped the female shopper and a worker who was carrying out construction work downstairs. Fortunately, they sustained only minor injuries and are reported to be in stable condition.

The youngsters, who study Agriculture, were ordered to wear the wacky headgear to prevent them from glancing at their classmates to copy the test answers. Their teachers also provided the incentive of getting bonus points for the most creative hats. Their teacher said: 'This isn't just about preventing cheating, it's also a way to reduce the pressure of the exam and encourage the students to enjoy learning, by incorporating fun activities into it.’

Circus scare
On March 16 in Nakhodka, Russia, a Brazilian acrobat performing on the "wheel of death" during a Novosibirsk circus tour in Nakhodka lost his balance and fell from a height of about 3 metres (9.8 feet). Fortunately, despite the structure continuing to rotate over him, the artist emerged unscathed and did not suffer any serious injuries.

Campsite chaos
Nate Luebbe, 36, was camping in Katmai National Park, Alaska, USA when he came across the bear outside his tent. Nate and his friend Cody had set up camp near Brookes Falls, a waterfall where bears fish for tuna, to photograph the animals but the pair got more than what they bargained for. A video shows Nate standing just metres away from the grizzly bear, which can be seen walking past, sniffing at the air and spotting him.

Explosive footage
A volcano erupted in Iceland and sent destructive lava flow toward Grindavik, footage filmed on March 17 shows. This marks the fourth volcano eruption in three months. During the emergency warnings, authorities have evacuated the popular Blue Lagoon geothermal spa resort. The filmer told Newsflare: "I was at some of the different places where the lava has gone over the road, as well as where the protection walls are redirecting the lava from houses and infrastructure."
