New Feature: Buyer Messaging
A new way to connect with buyers.
Ever wondered what may have stood between you and a video sale? More often than not, it’s context. When a buyer’s interest is peaked, their next step is to learn more about the story around a video: who’s featured, where was it filmed, what happened before (and after).
Sometimes, as detailed as they may be, descriptions just aren’t enough.
So, to give our filmers the best chance possible to make a sale, we’ve launched a brand new feature: buyer messaging.
The new on-platform feature, currently being rolled out to filmers everywhere, gives select VIP buyers the option to reach out directly to filmers and start the conversation.
We’re putting the story in your hands.
So, how does it work?
Buyer Messaging FAQs:

Not at the moment. Currently, only select buyers can send filmers messages.

While you don’t have to reply, giving potential buyers more information about your video may help increase your chances of making a sale.

We have carefully selected which buyers have access to this feature in order minimise the possibility of this.
However, if needed, all filmers have the ability to report, and block, messages from anyone on the platform. You can find this option at the bottom of your messages.
